Sassuolo and Italian national team striker Simone Zaza has said that his goal is to do well with the Neroverdi.
The 23-year-old has scored one goal in two appearances for the Azzurri, but has said that his focus remains with Sassuolo in order to earn more call-ups to the national team.
“I found some difficulty at first,” he said in the press conference. “I suffered both physically and mentally.
“My goal is to do well with Sassuolo, it’s my only way to get called up to the national team.
“Our aim is to avoid relegation, and we have a fantastic group of players.
It is worth mentioning that Italy’s upcoming game will be against Azerbaijan on Friday night.
