Atalanta coach Stefano Colantuono considers his side’s 0-0 draw with Torino an important point despite La Dea struggling to create in front of goal.

Both sides struggled throughout the match in a game of few chances as both sides looked tired following a midweek round of fixtures.

“Today we were not as energetic as on other occasions but we brought home a good point today,” the former Torino coach told Rai Sport following the conclusion of the match.

“There were few chances in this match with a miracle [Jean-Francois] Gillet save and a series of stops for [Marco] Sportiello too.

“He did well today and I am satisfied with his performance, he is a quiet kid who does not become emotional but he needs to continue to develop.

“We needed to bring home an important point and it was not easy to do this with a Torino home crowd.”

Atalanta remain in the bottom third of the table after picking up only two victories from their first 10 matches.
