Sampdoria defender Daniele Gastaldello is adamant the Blucerchiati will put their best on display ahead of their clash with AC Milan on Saturday.
The 31-year-old says his side will do everything in their power to get the three points and is excited to see past team members Andrea Poli and Giampaolo Pazzini.
“During the 90 minutes, we will do everything to beat them,” he told the press.
“It will be a pleasure before and after the race to see old friends.”
He also apologised for his absence from the squad’s clash against Inter, which they lost 1-0, but now insists he is reeling to go for the Blucerchiati.
“I am available,” he continued. “I apologise for the unfortunate event of last Wednesday and to have not been available on Sunday.”
