Inter defender Nemanja Vidic could be set for a sensational exit from the club, only six months after joining from Manchester United.
The 33 year old ex-Serbian international arrived at the San Siro with high expectations, but has flattered to deceive so far, committing a spate of costly errors in the process.
Sportmediaset report that Inter may allow Vidic to leave the club when the transfer window re-opens, only six months into his three year deal.
It is believed he could be in line for a sensational return to Manchester United, who themselves are in the midst of a defensive crisis.
As a replacement, Inter will mount an assault on Tottenham defender Vlad Chiriches, who has been on the fringes on the first team this season.
