Inter have registered an interest in taking out-of-favour Liverpool striker Fabio Borini to the San Siro in January, according to reports.

The Nerazzurri have had a poor start to the season and Erick Thohir wants the club to bring in a striker to bolster their attack, to support Mauro Icardi and Pablo Osvaldo.

It was also reported that the club had opened talks with Arsenal over a potential loan deal for Costa Rican international Joel Campbell but are also said to be interested in former Roma striker Borini to maximise their options.

Borini may be available for around €10 million in January and would offer a different dimension to Inter’s attack, having impressed on loan for Sunderland last season.
