Icardi - Cesena v InterHellas Verona travel to Stadio Meazza as they take to the field to take on Inter as they look to cause another shock in Milan to the weekend’s Serie A action on Sunday evening.

The Nerazzurri, and coach Walter Mazzarri, have been under pressure in recent weeks as performances have not been up to par. Wins against Cesena and Sampdoria were lagging as Mauro Icardi saved Mazzarri with two penalties in the two 1-0 wins.

Matchday ten saw Inter travel to Parma to take on a team down on their luck and struggling to string passes together, let alone wins. Inter seemed to be feeling generous last Saturday as to De Ceglie goals saw Parma pick up all three points.

Either side of this block of fixtures were Europa League encounters with Saint-Etienne. A 0-0 bore draw in the San Siro was backed up with another draw on Thursday in France as two goals were evenly shared.

The start of this season has been a struggle for Hellas Verona though as points had been hard to come by but they secured two 1-1 draws on the bounce recently both coming from behind. Both encouraging as Lazio went away from Verona with a share of the spoils and likewise, Verona escaped Cesena with a point also.

Verona will be extremely confident of nicking at least one point against Inter with Luca Toni leading the away side’s attack. The 37 year old has only got two goals so far this season but is always a threat, especially on the biggest stages.

Last October saw six goals shared between the two clubs with Inter taking a two goal lead. Verona pulled one back through Raphael Martinho before Cambiasso and Rolando made it 4-1. Romulo grabbed a late consolation for the visiting side.
