Hellas Verona forward Nicolas Lopez has insisted that he has to keep working to fulfill his potential after he netted a late equalizer to rescue a point for the Gialloblu against an under pressure Inter side.
The Milanese giants looked to be heading for a 2-1 victory at home against Verona until the young Uruguayan slammed home an 89th minute strike to rescue a draw for his team.
“They are strong, but we had come to win points and in the end we found the goal that gives us a draw to take home,’ enthused Lopez following the final whistle.
“I have to keep working like I’m doing. I’m young and I have to learn so much more.
“Today [Javier] Saviola saw me and I fed me the ball for the leveler.”
Lopez is owned by Udinese, but is on a season long loan at Verona.
