Lazio winger Senad Lulic admitted his side were second-best and must accept their humbling 3–0 loss against Juventus from Saturday evening.
The 28-year-old Bosnian international was captain for the night, but his side were swept away by a Paul Pogba inspired Bianconeri outfit.
“I thinkthe resultspeaks for itself clearly, it is a defeatthat we must acceptunfortunately, they werebetter than us,” Lulic told Mediaset Premium after the match.
“Football is like this, but we mustlook ahead. Today,the opponentwas stronger and thatmust be accepted.
“Before,wemade fivestraight wins, and now we have suffered two successive losses;we have togive everythingto winthe next few games.”
Lazio stay in fifth place in the standings, but could fall as far as ninth when the weekend concludes and if other matches do not go their way.
