Manchester City ready to activate Fiorentina winger’s release clause
The 26 year old Colombian was consistently linked with top European clubs during the summer transfer window, with Manchester United seemingly competing for the player who has since signed a new contract with La Viola tying him to the club until 2019.
However, the Daily Express reports that the South American’s performances have attracted the interest of Manchester City and the English club are prepared to activate his €35 million release clause in order to bring him to the Etihad.
Cuadrado joined Fiorentina from Lecce in the year 2012 and has over 77 appearances for La Viola.
