Manchester United are reportedly willing to offload Spanish international Juan Mata to Juventus for as low as €25 million, according to reports in England.

Mata joined United in January 2013 for €40 million but is not viewed by Louis Van Gaal has an integral part of the first-team squad. Mata has featured largely from the bench this season and may be willing to leave Old Trafford for regular football, according to The Daily Express.

Mata has completed just three 90-minute matches for United this season – a worryingly low amount for a player of his quality.

If Mata is to leave United, it is been claimed he will opt to return to his native Spain – leaving Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid La Liga champions in pole position.

However, Mata be tempted to join former United team-mate Patrice Evra in Serie A if he is willing to accept a new challenge.
