New Inter coach Roberto Mancini is ready to make his mark on the Nerazzurri ahead of the Derby della Madonnina against arch rivals AC Milan by changing the club’s usual formation.

The 49-year-old returns to the club after Walter Mazzarri’s recent sacking in hopes of improving the club’s current position of ninth in the table.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the 49-year-old is expected to use a 4-3-1-2 formation.

The playmaking role is most likely to be assigned to Mateo Kovacic, who will assist the offensive duo of Rodrigo Palacio and Mauro Icardi.

Brazilian midfielder Hernanes, is still in doubt for the clash but Mancini is hoping he can make a quick recovery in order to slot into the starting lineup.

Serbian midfielder Zdravko Kuzmanovic is expected to start in front of the defence, while Yuto Nagatomo and Dodo will assume external defensive roles.
