Murru – Cagliari
Roma are interested in signing Cagliari’s young fullback Nicola Murru when the transfer window re-opens.
The 19 year old Italian youth international has been kept out by Danilo Avelar’s good form and thus sparsely been played this term, but is still highly regarded at the club.
SportItalia report that Roma are seeking fullback reinforcements in January, having not been impressed with Ashley Cole’s form and Maicon’s injury concerns.
Fiorentina’s Manuel Pasqual is a long-term target, but Roma director Walter Sabatini may make a move for Murru who impressed last season, despite his tender age.
