4–3 Roma (August 16 2006)

Inter v roma

Thrilling. Probably the best word to describe the 2006 match-up between both clubs. The match came in light of the 2006 scandal which demoted to Serie B.

Alessandro Mancini made it 1–0 to 18 minutes in, before Alberto Aquilani hit a brace soon after to take the score to 3–0. However, one minute before the end of the half, reduced the difference to two goals, making it 3–1.

Goals from Hernan Crespo, and Vieira took the the score to 3–3 in the second half, thus sending the game to extra time.

Only five minutes into the first-half of extra-time, Luis Figo scored the winning goal to win the Supercoppa Italiana.
