Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan became embroiled in a Twitter spat with a Juventus supporter after admitting he had over-reacted to an incident in his side’s defeat to Bayern Munich on Tuesday evening.

The Belgian midfielder was involved in a clash with goalkeeper Manuel Neuer in which he seemed to overplay the contact between the two, something he admitted after the game.

“You’re not in Italy, and they won’t give them to you there,” raged a Twitter user whose handle suggested he supported the Bianconeri.

A few hours later, Nainggolan responded angrily.

“Do you not know anything?” was his reply.

“I remember 3 points,” he was told.

“I remember 3 rotten points,” replied the former Cagliari man, referring to the bad-tempered affair that saw Juventus beat the Giallorossi earlier in the season with Leonardo Bonucci’s late winner settling the match in the Bianconeri’s favour.

“I remember we won 3-2 and that’s all!” came the response.

“It was important to you. I’m glad,” responded Nainggolan.
