Sneijder tweets derby support for Inter

Former Inter playmaker Wesley Sneijder has taken to Twitter to voice his support for his former club in the Milan Derby on Sunday.

Now plying his trade in Turkey with Galatasaray, Sneijder was a prominent figure for Inter particularly during the Jose Mourinho years, in which he helped the team win a historic treble or Serie A, Coppa Italia, and the Champions League in 2010.

“I wish good luck to Inter and Mancini for their derby on Sunday,” he tweeted. 

The 30-year-old made 76 appearances for Inter during his time at the club, and it has been reported that the Dutch international is nearing the exit door at Galatasaray, with a move back to Serie A and AC Milan rumoured.
