Dybala palermoEnglish side Southampton are willing to break the bank in order bring Palermo starlet Paulo Dybala to the Premiership.

The young Argentine has been in fantastic form of late and his performances have not gone unnoticed outside of the peninsula.

The Daily Star has reported that despite Sicilian club owner Maurizio Zamparini announcing he would only sell the 20-year-old for an astronomical fee, this has not deterred the Saints from making an offer.

The British newspaper has suggested that they will smash their current transfer fee record of £15million – paid to Roma for Pablo Daniel Osvaldo – in order to bring Dybala to the St Mary’s Stadium.

Southampton have had a terrific start to their campaign under new manager Ronald Koeman, sitting in second place behind leaders Chelsea.
