Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal has revealed that he’s happy with the Old Lady’s 3-2 Champions League win over Olympiacos on Tuesday despite missing a last minute penalty.

The 27-year-old could have given the Bianconeri a fourth goal after the hosts were awarded a penalty in stoppage time but failed to get his shot past Thrylos goalkeeper Roberto, though he insists that the most important thing is that the Turin giants were able to secure the three points.

Vidal spoke to Radio Cooperativa about his missed penalty and Juventus’s victory against Olympiacos, while also commenting on the Italian side’s goal of maintaining their Serie A lead and winning a fourth consecutive Scudetto this season.

“A penalty can go wrong, people make mistakes,” said the Chilean international. “The important thing is to have won and to have played well.

“I’m happy because we came back to earn the three points, this will serve us very well in our mission to reach the next stage of the competition.

“Everything is going well in the Serie A, we are in first place and we must continue on this path in order to win our fourth consecutive Scudetto.”
