Cagliari coach Zdenek Zeman has responded to claims by Antonio Conte that Italy don’t have enough talent with the right attitude.

After the 1-1 draw with Croatia the Italy coach gave a damning verdict on his countries young talent, stating that the youngsters in Italy don’t have the right attitude.

Now legendary calcio coach Zeman has joined the debate, disagreeing with that point of view.

Speaking exclusively to Mediaset the Czech said: “In Italy, the talents are there, the point is that they play little, they should be sought and made to play better.”

The coach also gave his verdict on the upcoming Milan derby, which has been given fresh impetus with the arrival of Roberto Mancini at Inter who he believes has the edge on rookie Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi who Zeman describes as “‘a guy who wants to win, which is committed, but the experience weighs.

“A trained technician who knows how to judge the moments, Mancini ahead of Inzaghi.”
