AC Milan striker Giampaolo Pazzini is reportedly on the verge of joining Parma during the January transfer window.

The 30-year-old has been linked with a move away from the San Siro outfit in recent weeks due to to his lack of playing time this term, with clubs including the Crociati and Premier League side Burnley apparently interested in signing him, though the struggling Ducali are seen as the favourites to land the Italian’s services in the near future.

According to Leggo, AC Milan will be open to selling the former Sampdoria man to Parma this winter as soon as they can find a suitable replacement for him, as he currently serves as a backup attacking player in Pippo Inzaghi’s squad.

Pazzini, whose current contract with the Diavolo is set to expire in June 2015, has failed to score in his seven league appearances for the Rossoneri this season thus far, with all of his appearances coming as substitutions.
