Fiorentina defender Marcos Alonso has revealed that he’s looking forward to seeing the Stadio Artemio Franchi packed with fans during the Gigliati’s home clash with Juventus on Friday.
The Viola are coming off of three consecutive away wins in all competitions and the 23-year-old is happy to be able to face Serie A leaders Juventus back at home in what will be an important match for both sides, as the hosts will be focused on making their way up towards the top five in the league standings while the visitors hope to secure a win and keep Roma at bay.
Alonso spoke through his official website Marcos-Alonso.com about his excitement ahead of the battle with Juventus and commented on Fiorentina’s crushing 4-0 win over Cagliari on November 30.
“The match was a bit hard but we’ve earned three major points,” said the Spaniard. “Now that we’re finished with three straight away matches comes a very good game.
“I cannot wait to see the stadium against Juventus on Friday. I hope everyone has a good week and I hope to see everyone on Friday.”
