Inter director Piero Ausilio has rubbished reports that the club are interested in Tottenham Hotspurs winger Aaron Lennon.
Nerazzurri boss Roberto Mancini name-dropped the English international as a possible arrival in January, but Ausilio has dismissed any speculation that the club will exchange Fredy Guarin for the England international.
“Lennon? We’re not going to try, we are notinterested in him,” Ausilio told Sky Sport Italia before the Lazio game. “We believein [Fredy] Guarin, and he believes in the coach.
“Lennonis definitely not a player we seek.
“Wewill try tosatisfyMancini; we signed an important coach and it would be naivenot to followhis directions.”
The Nerazzurri will end the first-half of the 2014/2015 Serie A season in 11th place, following the 2-2 draw with Lazio on Sunday night.
