Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has revealed that the Biscione have not been in contact with Galatasaray for midfielder Selcuk Inan despite rumours claiming otherwise.
The 29-year-old, who worked under current Nerazzurri boss Roberto Mancini during the tactician’s season-long stint at Gala last term, is thought to be a main target of the San Siro outfit ahead of the January transfer window, though Ausilio admits that a market plan must be discussed by the Italian club first before any negotiations begin.
Ausilio spoke to Haber 10 about the possibility of Inan arriving at Inter in the near future and confirmed that the Milan side’s representatives are yet to begin talks with Galatasaray.
“We will get to work on the market after putting together a provisional plan with Mancini,” said the sporting director.
“For now we have not had any contact with Galatasaray.”
Selcuk Inan has provided two assists in his 12 Super Lig appearances this season thus far.
