Berlusconi: With this squad AC Milan will surely get back in the Champions League

AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi has claimed that it is only a matter of time before the Rossoneri make it back into the Champions League considering the quality of the squad ahead of their home fixture against Napoli on Sunday.

His daughter and director Barbara Berlusconi also said that the club is devising new plans to be innovative and grow for the future.

“We have a cohesive and good squad,” said Silvio Berlusconi to Milan Channel.

“Everything is going okay, there are no broken goods and the atmosphere is positive.

“Against Genoa we let in a bit of a poor goal and we missed a great opportunity because we could have gone up to fourth but now we’re eighth instead.

“With this squad we can surely qualify for the Champions League, there is still time.

“I’m sure that we will do it, we have to sort out few things but the squad is united and determined and I am sure that we will do it.”

Barbara Berlusconi also said she is enjoying her work after speaking to journalists after it was announced that Milan are on the verge of building their own stadium.

“It’s been an entertaining day.

“We have lots of projects planned, the coach is working hard.

“We’re all thinking of growing further together.”
