Atalanta striker Rolando Bianchi has revealed that he’s satisfied with his team’s performance in their home victory over Cesena on Sunday and insisted that the squad had been working hard to prepare for the game.

The Orobici staged an impressive comeback after going down by two goals in first half by answering with three in the second, thus earning a 3-2 win against the Seahorses, and the 31-year-old believes that La Dea’s dedication throughout the match and in training as of late has paid off.

Bianchi spoke to Sky Sport Italia after the victory about Atalanta’s resilience during the meeting with Cesena and the importance of the three points, while also commenting on his desire to begin scoring goals for his team as the season progresses.

“These are three key points for us,” said the Italian, who is currently on loan at Atalanta from Bologna.

“We have earned these points by working hard throughout the week. During the first half we had found ourselves in trouble, but we managed to fight our way out of it during the second half.

“Let’s say that our hard work is paying off, I hope to begin scoring goals because that’s an important thing to me.

“Today we have been good to bring out our pride, we unlocked three important points and we must continue on this path.”
