I am not asking for a lot, because my mum told me that I should not be greedy. So maybe you might be able to make these things happen so that I will be very, very happy next year.
First, please make Juan Cuadrado happy so he won’t leave? I know Manchester United really want him and people are saying Manchester City, and even Barcelona too, but a little something extra in his pay check, maybe? It is the holidays and maybe if he gets nice gifts he won’t leave us for England (or SpainP next year. They can go look at some other guy with all their money.
Second, Neto still won’t sign a new contract. Pretty much most Viola fans do not want him to go to Roma. So maybe you could give him something really nice so he will stay in Florence and won’t move to Rome. But it does make me mad that we defended him when he the whole city was talking badly about him and now he’s not being loyal.
Actually, instead of something really nice, maybe a bit of coal. Especially after that epic fail against Cesena. But not too much of that coal, otherwise he will be sad and keep conceding silly goals. We do want to try to earn third place and be in the Champions League season after all.
Third, Mario Gomez needs some new gear, because he still can’t seem to score. Maybe a brand new pair of boots will bring him some better luck in 2015…hopefully. And for Giuseppe Rossi to come back and not have another injury, although I don’t know if you can do that, too.We also want Khouma Babacar back since he is our leading scorer, after all.
Although there is that crazy rumor that we might swap Josip Ilicic for Miroslav Klose and that there are a whole bunch of clubs interested in him? It is mean for me to say, but maybe we won’t miss Ilicic too much?
Fourth, we will need all the help we can get in the Europa League against Tottenham. Even though Spurs are not doing so great right now. But maybe we might make some changes in the winter transfer market.
All I want, Santa, is for us to finally start winning at home more often. Dropping points with draws and losses is not going to make it easier to qualify for the Champions League next season. And if we are not really careful, we might not even qualify for the Europa League, too.
