Genoa are looking to land either Galatasaray forward Goran Pandev or Newcastle forward Facundo Ferreyra to replace departing forward Mauricio Pinilla.
Pinilla has struggled to land a starting spot with the Rossoblu, only scoring four competitive goals, and has been benched for Alessandro Matri in Genoa’s starting eleven.
According to Tuttosport, Genoa are looking at Pandev and Ferreyra as a replacement for Pinilla who is set for a transfer to Atalanta, pending a medical examination.
Pandev has struggled to find playing time for Galatasaray, only appearing as a substitute in two league matches while Ferreyra has not played in any matches for Newcastle while on loan from Shakhtar Donetsk.
