Inter have received a boost ahead of their Serie A match with Udinese on Sunday as Mateo Kovacic and Yuto Nagatomo have both trained as normal ahead of the game.

Both players had been thought to be doubts for the match, but Kovacic should start ahead of Yann M’Vila in midfield while Nagatomo has returned from a shoulder injury and is in contention to replace Hugo Campagnaro at right-back.

Tuttomercatoweb reports that although coach Roberto Mancini will have both players available for his first home league game since returning to the San Siro, he will again be without Brazilian pair Jonathan and Hernanes.

Full-back Jonathan has been out since October while an adductor injury has caused Hernanes to miss the last two games.

It is thought though that both could return within the next few weeks to help Inter to return to the top-half of the table following a difficult start to the season.
