Inter are monitoring the performances of Villarreal striker Luciano Vietto ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
The 20-year-old Argentinian youth international only joined the club this past summer from Racing Club, but has been in fine form for the Yellow Submarine this season.
Sport Mediaset report that Inter believe that Vietto would be the perfect heir to countryman Rodrigo Palacio, who has been well below his best so far this campaign.
Inter are prepared to make a huge bid to entice the speedy forward to join the Nerazzurri, as new boss Roberto Mancini keenly awaits attacking reinforcements.
Vietto has netted six goals in 17 appearances in all competitions so far this campaign.
