Inter trying to lure Marseille forward

Inter are believed to be holding talks with with Marseille winger Andre Ayew over a possible pre-contract deal.

The Ghana international has already stated his intentions to refuse talks with his current club, sparking interest from sides including Newcastle of the Barclays Premier League.

The Nerazzurri are in though to be in contact with representatives of the 24-year-old, according to Le10Sport.

After December 30, the player is free to sign a contract with another club which would lead to a free transfer in the summer window.

Inter are in the market for a forward under new coach Roberto Mancini, and Arsenal winger Joel Campbell has also been strongly linked to the club in recent days.

Ayew has 56 caps for Ghana, and scored two goals at the World Cup in Brazil.
