The 28-year-old Brazilian international has struggled for game-time this season under boss Rafael Benitez, and could depart the club if a good offer comes in.
Tuttomercatoweb reports that the Porto Alegre outfit will attempt to sign the versatile defender when the transfer window re-opens in the new year.
Internacional will first concentrate all their efforts on finding a new manager, then they will prepare a formal bid for Napoli to consider.
Henrique has only made six league appearances for Napoli this season.
