Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is reportedly a top transfer target for Premier League champions Manchester City.

The 21-year-old midfield star has started the season well for the Bianconeri, scoring three goals from his opening ten games.

The Sun believe that preliminary talks have begun between Man City and Juventus over a potential deal for the French star.

It is believed that the Manchester club have earmarked Pogba as the natural successor to Yaya Toure, who seems destined to leave at the end of the season after a row with the club and a loss of form.

The debacle at the end of the last campaign in which Toure threatened to leave the club over not being given a birthday cake is believed the be at the heart of the problem, forcing the Citizens to turn their attention to Pogba.
