AC Milan captain Riccardo Montolivo says it is good to be back, after returning to action this for the first time this season against Udinese on Sunday evening.
The 29-year-old Italian international broke his leg in an international friendly with the Azzurri just before the World Cup, and has been out of action for the past six months.
The midfield playmaker made his long-awaited return to Serie A football on Sunday evening, playing out the final minutes in the 2-0 victory over the Fruili.
“Savoringagainthe ground undermy feet, my stadium, the fans whocheeryou… beautiful!” Montolivo exclaimed on his official Twitter profile.
Montolivo came on as a substitute in the 88th minute against Udinese, but is expected to gain more game-time in the match against Genoa on Sunday.
