Napoli have been linked with a January move for Sporting CP full back Jonathan Silva.
The Partenopei have been looking for a number of reinforcements to bolster their squad and now the 20-year-old Argentine has emerged as a realistic target.
Despite the La Plata native having only recently joined Sporting in the summer, A Bola is reporting that Napoli are prepared to prise the promising player away from the Portuguese capital.
Silva began his career with Argentine outfit Estudiantes and went on to make nearly 50 league appearances for the side after making his debut in 2012. He moved to Sporting in August 2014 for an undisclosed fee.
He already boasts two full international caps to his name having made his bow in his country’s 2-1 win against Croatia in November and he made his second appearance just four days later as the Albiceleste fell to 1-0 defeat against Portugal.
