Napoli have targeted Torino fullback Matteo Darmian as their primary January transfer target to fill their starting right fullback position.
The Partenopei see the 25-year-old as the heir to the rightback position that is currently held by 32-year-old vice-captain Christian Maggio, whose contract expires at the end of the 2014-15 season.
According to Tuttosport, Napoli are offering Torino the rights to midfielder Omar El Kaddouri, who is already on loan at Torino from Napoli, striker Duvan Zapata, and a €3 million transfer fee to complete the deal for Darmain.
If Darmain goes unsigned, Napoli will turn their attention to Giulio Donati who plays in the Bundesliga for Bayer Leverkusen.
