Moussa Ndiaye, agent of AC Milan forward M’Baye Niang, has revealed that his client will be remaining at the Diavolo this season despite rumours claiming otherwise.

The 20-year-old has been linked with a possible move away from the Rossoneri during the January transfer window with several clubs including Chelsea and Arsenal apparently interested in securing his services, though his agent insists that the San Siro outfit have no plans of selling the French youngster this winter.

Ndiaye spoke to MilanNews.it about Niang’s current situation at AC Milan and admitted that the former Montpellier talent is happy to continue working hard for a place in Pippo Inzaghi’s squad.

“I recently spoke with sporting director Rocco Maiorino,” said the agent. “Niang does not want to leave Milan.

“We know that M’Baye is a great talent, he must be patient and wait for his chance. He’s working hard every day in order to be ready.

“There are so many rumours because he’s a young talent at Milan, so it’s normal that other teams are looking to sign him. I myself have had more than one contact with an outside club.

“The Italian media often speak of him, but Niang is happy to stay at AC Milan, as his only objective has been to do well here.”
