Sampdoria’s Angelo Palombo has admitted that he has good memories of when they beat Juventus at Juventus Stadium in January 2013 but he admits that now everything is different to that day.

The Blucerchiati on that occasion became the last team to beat the Bianconeri at home, courtesy of a brace from Mauro Icardi, however Juventus are currently on a 25 match winning streak at home in Serie A.

“I think only a little of our last victory in Turin,” he said at a pre-match press conference on Saturday.

“Everything has changed [since that game]. It is a good memory but I’d rather have new ones at the end of the game [today].”

The 33-year-old has made well over 300 appearances for Sampdoria after joining from Fiorentina in 2002 and went on to make 22 international appearances for the Azzurri over a five year period.
