The agent of Rijeka star Ivan Mocinic has confirmed that Inter are interested in the services of his client.
The 21-year-old Croatian youth international has established himself as one of the most exciting talents in the Prva HNL, and could be set for a move to the Serie A.
“First of all he is happy, because he has been an Inter fan since he was a child, and for him to be linked to this great team gives him great pride,” Luigi Paoletti, Mocinic’s agent, told FcInterNews.it.
“At the moment, however, there have been only scouts of Inter watching, to see if the boy is good enough in the Italian league, because it is a different level to the Croatian league.
“There are only small signs, no concrete negotiations yet.
“I think in January it will be difficult to take him to Italy, you have to understand the maturity of the player and evaluate at the end of the season if there is the opportunity to take him to Inter.”
Inter have also been linked with Mocinic’s team-mate and goal-scoring sensation Andrej Kramaric.
