Russian outfit Spartak Moscow are the latest club to be linked with a move for Inter defender Nemanja Vidic.

The 33-year-old Serbian international arrived at the San Siro with high expectations, but has flattered to deceive so far, committing a spate of costly errors in the process.

Russian newspaper Izvestia report that Spartak want to bring the Vidic in on an initial loan, with a view to making it permanent in the summer for €4 million.

Vidic has also been linked with Juventus and Fenerbache in the past few weeks, and the defender’s Nerazzurri journey could be over after just six months.

If Vidic completes a move to Spartak  it would represent a second spell at the Russian side, having played there from 2004-2006 before moving onto Manchester United.
