AC Milan are keen on exchanging fringe striker M’Baye Niang in exchange for Newcastle fullback Davide Santon.
Niang has been heavily linked with a move to Newcastle this month, and Milan believe they can include long-term target Santon in the negotiations.
Tuttomercatoweb report that with Milan targeting reinforcements in defence, Santon has once again emerged as a viable target for the Rossoneri.
Santon has just returned from a long-term injury, and has seen his spot lost to Paul Dummett, who has emerged as the clubs first choice left-back in the Italian international’s absence.
Milan hope to contact Newcastle soon over the possible exchange, and a deal may be completed in the coming weeks.
