Serie B side Bologna are in talks with AC Milan over the potential transfer of three Rossoneri players as they attempt to strengthen their squad ahead of a concerted push for promotion during the second half of the season.

Sky Sport Italia reports that Rossoblu director of football, Pantaleo Corvino was in Milan on Friday morning to open negotiations for Michelangelo Albertazzi and Cristian Zaccardo, although the newspaper understands that no agreement for the pair has so far been reached.

However, Corvino’s main transfer target is Riccardo Saponara who is a player in high demand with several Serie A sides also interested in the trequartista.

Bologna currently sit third in the Serie B table, nine points behind league leaders Carpi.
