After the hosts had equalised through Miguel Britos it was the Uruguayan international who netted a decisive second minutes later, however, despite the personal joy the goal brought helping secure a vital three points was his primary aim.
“I’m still young, but so far this has undoubtedly been for me the most significant injury,” Caceres told Juventus.com.
“It was tough not playing for three months, because it is hard to see my teammates and remain out. Fortunately, now I’m back in the team.
“My goal Sunday was simple, I got the ball and I shot.
“It’s true, it is not the first time I have scored against them, but it was not such an important aim, that was to benefit of the group.
“It does not matter that I score, or Pogba or Vidal, as happened Sunday, but that we give our most in every game.
“We brought home three points from the San Paolo which is a very difficult venue, where had not won for many years.
“We have once again sent a message, which is always the same: we are Juventus and we always play for the best results.”
