Chievo forward Maxi Lopez is expected to complete a move to Torino, switching to what will be his ninth professional club.
The well-traveled Argentine joined the Gialloblu last summer from Catania, but has recently lost his starting place, making his last five Serie A appearances as a substitute.
Tuttomercatoweb has since announced an outright transfer has been agreed for an undisclosed fee and that the former AC Milan and Sampdoria forward will arrive on a six-month contract with the option of an additional year.
Lopez had been expected to join Torino in exchange for Marcelo Larrondo, however, both transfers are no longer believed to be dependent as Larrondo is still considering his options, with Palermo monitoring the situation.
