Fiorentina have reportedly withdrawn their interest in Guangzhou Evergrande striker Alberto Gilardino.
The Viola are believed to be using this current transfer window to locate attacking reinforcements, and are now understood to not be considering the 32-year-old Italy striker’s name among those.
Levante of La Liga are now considered to be a possible destination for the former Genoa hitman, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Interest from Major League Soccer outfit Montreal Impact has also been reported, and it appears unlikely that Gilardino will remain in China beyond this present transfer window.
Up until the summer of 2014, Gilardino had spent his entire career playing for Italian clubs, scoring 175 Serie A goals.
