Former AC Milan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso has reportedly applied for two coaching jobs in Scotland.

The 2006 FIFA World Cup winning midfielder was last coach of OFI Crete before leaving the Greek side in December 2014.

According to STV, Gattuso is keen on coaching either Hamilton or Rangers.

Hamilton are currently in the Scottish Premiership but their coach Alex Neil has recently left the club for Championship club Norwich City in England.

Rangers are also without a coach after club legend Ally McCoist resigned from his post in December.

Gattuso has a firm connection with the Glasgow based club after he spent a year of his playing career between 1997-1998 at Rangers.
