AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani admits the Rossoneri’s January transfer business is finished following the arrival of Roma striker Mattia Destro.

Destro arrived in Milan today on an initial €700,000 loan until the end of the current season, with the option of making the move permanent for a fee in the region of €16 million, and the 70-year-old does not expect any further signings this January.

“I was pleasantly surprised when I saw so many people here to see Mattia, I did not expect it,” Galliani told reporters as reported by Tuttomercatoweb.

“I’m happy. Enthusiasm is important, but I hope that it can be turned into positive results.”

The vice-president continued by insisting Giampaolo Pazzini would not leave while hinting that Pablo Armero could exit the San Siro before the window shuts, while also ruling out a deal for Palermo defender Ezequiel Muñoz.

“Pazzini will stay. As for Armero, we have an agreement with Genoa but for now the player has not accepted that destination. Antonelli is not part of the deal.

“Our incoming market is closed. [M’Baye] Niang is a Milan player on loan to Genoa until the end of the season and I wish him the best. Munoz is not coming.”
