Ex-AC Milan star Gennaro Gattuso is edging ever closer to being appointed as the new Rangers boss.
The ex-Rangers star just left his position as manager of Greek club OFI Crete last month, and has never hidden his desire to return to the Ibrox as a manager.
BBC Sport report that Rangers have Gattuso at the top of their list as they continue their search for a new boss for next season.
They are said to be convinced by ex-Sion boss’ fiery attitude and determination, and his appointment would be a popular decision among the Rangers fans.
Rangers are currently second in the Scottish championship, thirteen points behind first-placed Hearts.
