M'baye Niang - AC MilanGenoa are nearing the completion of a deal to bring AC Milan forward M’Baye Niang to the club on loan.

The Grifone have long maintained a good relationship with the Rossoneri resulting in numerous transfers over previous seasons.

With Alessandro Matri injured and Maurizio Pinilla moving to Atalanta the club are in need of a striker and according to Sky Sport Italia, the former Caen front man is set to move to Genoa on loan for the rest of the season.

Niang has scored once in 38 competitive matches for Milan, however the youngster has made just five appearances this campaign.

Niang can play on either wing but is understood to be most comfortable playing centrally.
