Inter could make a move for French midfielder Lassana Diarra, who is currently a free agent, during the January transfer window.

Diarra was sacked by his previous employers Lokomotiv Moscow in August 2014 as the former Real Madrid midfielder refused to train with the team.

According to FCInterNews.it, Inter could consider Lassana Diarra as the last option to bolster the midfield, if the Nerazzurri fail in their attempts to sign Liverpool’s Lucas Leiva or Atletico Madrid’s Mario Suarez.

West Ham United, Schalke 04, Marseille, Hamburg, Werder Bremen and Borussia Dortmund are also interested in signing the French midfielder, but Diarra is waiting for the clearance certificate from FIFA about his dispute with the club.

Diarra joined Lokomotiv Moscow from Anzhi Makhackala in 2013 and scored one goal in 17 league games for Loko
Parovozy.
