Under-fire AC Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi has the full support of club owner Silvio Berlusconi.

The Rossoneri endured a disappointing early Coppa Italia exit at the hands of Lazio on Tuesday, and the Serie A giants now have just one win from six games since the Christmas break ended.

Contrary to reports prior to the cup tie which suggested a loss would result in a job casualty, Inzaghi will remain at the club for the foreseeable future by the orders of Berlusconi, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Milan vice president Adriano Galliani is reported to have received a call confirming the decision just minutes after the final whistle at the San Siro.

Additionally, it is also claimed that Galliani was forced to leave the stadium early following persistent abuse from a section of the home support.

The club recently recorded their first January without a league win for over 70 years.
