Juan Iturbe was happy with his efforts for Roma as they drew 1-1 at Fiorentina on Sunday, with the Argentine providing a superb assist for his side’s equaliser and being a constant threat throughout the game.
The result does leave the Giallorossi seven points off league leaders Juventus, after four draws in their last five Serie A games.
Speaking to Sky Sport Italia after the match, the 21-year-old said: “I think I played well and I will continue to work hard in training. We need to work hard to keep our title hopes alive.”
On missing a great opportunity to put his side ahead, he explained: “Maybe I should try to shoot earlier next time.
“I think playing up front with [Francesco] Totti or on the right side of a front three is good for me, but I am at my best when part of a front two.”
